This blog was originally dedicated to update my friends and family on the details of my recovery from a traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI). I later began writing myself and now use this blog to document my journey through life with a spinal cord injury.

A Light in Dark Times:

Hundreds of luminaries were lit through the Tueller's neighborhood in a unified effort to show support to Carson's family. When the Tueller's arrived home their entire street and house had been illuminated by the efforts of neighbors and friends. Stephen fought back tears as he expressed gratitude for everyone's love and support. He encourages everyone to continue praying for Carson. Carson is positive and has lifted the spirits of everyone that is working with him. He has kept his sense of humor and positive attitude through the pain and fatigue. When Bishop Austin entered the room, Carson had not yet opened his eyes. He said, "I can smell Bishop from here!"  Stephen said he knows that Carson will continue to inspire those around him, however, he knows that "every once and a while Carson will crash and burn. Especially after all the dust has settled." Keep the prayers and support coming!
