This blog was originally dedicated to update my friends and family on the details of my recovery from a traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI). I later began writing myself and now use this blog to document my journey through life with a spinal cord injury.

Carson's Incredible Example:

Carson was visited last night by Jordan Strong in the hospital. Jordan said, "I was fortunate enough to go and visit with Carson through my Dad who is a physician at the U. He is in the ICU and was moving his arms a little bit. He still is unable to move or feel his legs, but we are hoping for the best. Carson is positive and upbeat and is influencing the lives of all of those whom are working with him. He said to me, "Jordan, I am the same Carson with or without my legs. All I want is to be the man God wants me to be, character is all that matters." His faith and optimism is inspiring. He also wanted me to make sure and tell everyone that he loves them and appreciates their prayers."

I know a lot of great people, but I have never met someone so willing to submit his will to his Father in Heaven's. That has been Carson's example his whole life, and I know he will continue to do so.
